RISE Hawaiʻi is a nonprofit organization committed to helping women from all walks of life build resilience through education and self-development. We aim to celebrate the growth and resilience of women, emphasizing confidence, courage and connection.
We serve women in our community through two ways.
First, we award a scholarship annually to women pursuing higher education or professional development. The "Next Level of You" scholarship honors individuals who have demonstrated resilience in the face of adversity and are committed to rising through education.
Second, we host events —from leadership forums incorporating cultural practices to talk story sessions with healthcare providers, and initiatives like our Mama and Keiki Book Exchange-- our events promote lifelong learning and meaningful community connection. Guided by pilina, aloha, and lōkahi, we cultivate a space where women can break barriers, build bridges, and grow together through meaningful conversations and personal development.
You can help build a more resilient Hawaii Island community by supporting The RISE Project. Your donations, your attendance at an upcoming event, your contributions and collaborations make this possible. Please contact us or give to the cause.
Your generous gift will help us fund our mission to help women here in the Hawaii Island community.
